Basic Prices on Leads THE PRICES VARY..... depending on lead length, bead choices, number of beads, and other variables. One definative variable is the latest price increase in quality Kangaroo Lace. (We all know what rolls downhill, eh?) We have always continually searched hard and long for our unique beads and combinations, and we REFUSE to use Pony Beads and other cheap plastic kiddie beads on expensive Kangaroo leads for your show dogs. Most ( but not all ) of our unique and beautiful beads are specially custom hand made for us by a very talented Lampwork Artist If I wouldn't personally use it in the show ring.....I WON'T MAKE IT

For our non-USA clients, we have tried to include the correct metric measurements.....

Basic price for a minimum length 30-33" (76-84cm) plain braided lead, NO beads, with or without snap is about $1.75 USD per braided inch (2.5cm).....apprx $58.00 USD or so Plus shipping and handling - Plus PRICE OF BEADS (unless price of beads is specified to be included in the basic price quote)

The finished braid is triple softened and rolled, and has been braided around a 100#-140# (45-63k) center core to help lessen stretching and breakage.
Packaged in its own drawstring pouch, with "Care and Feeding" instructions, conditioner pad and buffing cloth,
loose or attached snap included (at no additional charge) ONLY if requested.
Note: If you've already ordered a lead from us, we will only send the extra accessories ( pad, cloth, etc) with the first lead (unless you request them).
They can be used for all successive leads you may order.

Kangaroo Metallic Gold or Silver are $7.00 MORE each....because they cost ME more, and the lace is shipped direct from Australia.

Cost of beads can vary considerably. ASK. None of know correct answers if we don't ask.

We will happily and diligently work with you to design the "just right" arrangement of available beads according to your own personal imagination, wants, and needs. Hopefully between us (along with photos and email), you will have that one-of-a-kind show lead that #1 You were involved in designing, and #2 Is a unique design you can proudly take into the ring on your lovely show dog. OUR NEW POLICY: We won't make the same bead grouping twice....or the same lead WITH the same bead grouping twice. One-of-a-kind and that's it.

I prefer to braid with the collar loop end (so you can use any collar you want - WHEN you want) ....
and just send along the snap if asked to, unless client requests "snap only - braided in". Most don't.
Snaps are available in Silver, Black, & Gold. (Not all sizes in all colors)
Collar Rings are available in Silver & Gold
SNAPS ARE NO ADDITIONAL COST

We GUARANTEE our work and our leads.....IF you take care of the lead and the beads according
to our recommendations (INSTRUCTIONS are included with the first lead) ...... AND keep it in the pouch it comes in.....when not in use.
If it breaks from faulty workmanship, you need to send it to us at your expense,
and we will remake it for you...EXACTLY LIKE THE ORIGNAL. NO changes. And send it back to you.
(If we no longer have the beads you originally had, then we will happily substitute to your liking)

You have to remember that GLASS BEADS WILL BREAK. So you need to take care of them.
We cannot guarantee ANY bead against breakage, but we can back up our leatherwork, UNLESS you abuse it.

[NOTE: Tossing a handful of hand-made Kangaroo beaded leads into a show bag and only taking
them out and untangling the "bird's nest" at a show for use, does NOT constititute CARE.
If they break, stretch, lose beads, or are damaged from this type of abuse and neglect,
we WILL NOT remake them at no charge, nor will we guarantee them.
It's quite easy to see if the leads have been abused in this manner,
so we really suggest you care for them......they're unique, lovely and well worth a little xtra TLC ]

PLEASE BE AWARE:
Any braided lead that has a snap attached in the braid cannot be warranteed.
Snaps move and wear on the leather.
Which is why most of our clients prefer the collar LOOP as opposed to a permanently attached snap.
However, YOUR preference is what I will make for you.

SHIPPING
Normally done via USPS 3-Day Priority, with tracking and delivery notice within the continental US.
International Priority EXPRESS is preferred for overseas orders.

We can also send your lead to you straight 1st Class Mail in the US.......but you need to understand that there is no refund should the packet not arrive.
I have no way to track the shipment and those few folks who have used a bit of deceit about receiving
their shipments have made it impossible for us to guarantee anything via straight mail.

USPS Priority shipping provides continual tracking, but we have had trouble with the tracking for European orders shipped via
Flat Rate Small Box Priority due to the Customs differences for each country.
So even though it's considerably more expensive, we are now recommending the
International Priority Express method, because we can track the shipment and it's supposed to be faster through Customs.

We can also send out of the country by Straight Mail.
HOWEVER, from EXPENSIVE experience, we have learned that since we have no way to either track the progress
of the package or verify whether the package actually arrived at its destination.....or not....we prefer not to use these services.
We WILL use them if you insist, but we will not provide a refund if the package mysteriously doesn't show up.

ALL ORDERS ARE PREPAID You may successfully & securely prepay for your order through PayPal You do not need to have an account with them  PLEASE NOTE: Once you and I have both decided and finalized the style, color, beads, price, etc, (VIA EMAIL, PHONE, PHOTOS) on your lead, all I need is your EMAIL address & I will send your invoice via PayPal with totals, details & instructions.  Remember, when using PayPal, there will be a 4.8% service charge added on and included in your total amount due before Shipping. (Example: If the cost of lead is $80.00, add 4.8%SC of $3.84, making total cost before shipping $83.84) We will itemize it all on your invoice. Here's how the PayPal invoicing works: We will send a detailed invoice through PayPal to the email address you provide. You go to the secure PayPal site and enter your information....... including the email address you provided, along with your (secure) credit/debit card information. Once your information is entered, the invoice we sent to you will be activated and you only need to click to pay it. You are NOT required to Have or to Create an Account with PayPal to be able to pay via bank/credit/debit card through them. It's Really EASY...SECURE...FAST.... & CONVENIENT!
